Profile of the performer Valiant Swart: Born the 25th of November 1965 in Wellington, South Africa, Valiant Swart is a folk/blues singer/songwriter and guitarist with numerous production duties and guest appearances on a range of albums under his belt. Learning the trade as an "Afrikaanse liedjieskrywer" by playing the seedy Hillbrow pub circuit with fellow songsmith Koos Kombuis, his own debut album "Mystic Boer" was released in 1996. Valiant Swart has outputted over a dozen CDs and appeared live in England, the USA, and Holland.
